Meet Nicole McCarthy
Hi there, I’m Nicole and I’ve worked in the travel industry on and off for over 25 years. I prefer to handle our honeymooners and leisure clients and leave the weddings to my amazing co-workers. So if you are looking for an all inclusive getaway with your family, or are a group of friends looking for some “fun in the sun” I am your gal.
I love to explore when I travel. Hiking and shopping in local markets. I love local museums and art gallery’s and getting to try the local cuisine. I believe when you travel its an opportunity to explore and have new adventures.
What is your favourite destination (s) that you’ve travelled to?
It’s so hard to pick just one – I’d say my top favorites are: Mexico, Bahamas and New York City.
What destination is tops on your bucket list?
Paris, London, Ireland …. Basically all of Europe
How many years have you been in travel? Any related experience you’d like to note?
I’ve been in the travel industry for over 25 years. I graduated Humber College with a travel and tourism diploma and worked in call centres for several years.
I’ve been a branch manager and worked with corporate offices on business travel. I’ve always preferred leisure clients. I love sending a family off to Disney for the first time, or a couple off on their honeymoon. There is so much joy in making someone dreams come true.
Best travel tip?
Just go! Honestly, you won’t regret it! Immerse yourself in the culture, step off the beaten path, take lots of pictures, make memories and enjoy every minute of it.
